CATEGORIES

The South Eastern Section IFT (SEIFT) has announced our Disruptive Innovation Awards in the following categories being celebrated within the 2021 theme of FOOD FOR HEALTH:

Disruptive Innovation in

Agri-Tech Award

This award recognizes agricultural technology-related initiatives that have real-world outcomes that benefit the production of ingredients such as greater yields, or upcycled products.

Disruptive Innovation in

Ingredients Award

This award for disruptive innovation in ingredients aims to celebrate a company that has manufactured an ingredient dedicated to promoting Food for Health. All ingredients that demonstrate healthy eating are eligible for entry into this award. This award is designed for innovative ingredients that meet the specific demands of the new dietary guidelines and healthy eating.

Disruptive Innovation in

Products Award

This award seeks to celebrate a good healthy finished product. If you think you’ve created the next best product, you have a chance at winning. This award rewards small and large companies creating products that help to improve or establish healthy habits.

Disruptive Innovation in

Technology Award

This award seeks to recognize a company who has introduced a new innovative technology related to creating a finished product, ingredient, or service for the food industry.
